| The new ISO-DRAIN nature 15 G capillary-break drainage sheet is made from environmentally friendly and resilient recycled HDPE, is laminated with robust barrier and filter fleeces and is perfect for two different applications. Firstly, it meets all the requirements for a drainage sheet that can be laid under surfaces users will walk on, such as roof terraces and balconies. Secondly, it is also ideal for surfaces that vehicles can drive over, such as fire service access points in underground parking facilities and parking decks. This applies to both private and public construction projects. The sheet reliably and quickly channels away excess rain and melt water to prevent blooming on floor surfaces, frost damage and waterlogging on green roofs. It also satisfies the new guidelines for outdoor floor surfaces. In the case of Germany, this is Technical Rule BTI 1.4 for floor surfaces. This stipulates the use of 15 mm high drainage sheets at accessible transition points such as terrace doors or doors that provide access to a roof. Similarly, the sheet also complies with Swiss Standard SIA 271, which differs in that it requires a height of 12 mm for drainage sheets. Both guidelines specify that the floor surfaces next to doors must incorporate drainage to prevent water ingress to the interior during heavy rain. |
