ISO-DRAIN stands for high-quality dimpled sheets for foundation wall protection. In addition to reliable product quality, transparent environmental information is becoming increasingly important – especially for planning, tendering and sustainable construction.
A verified Environmental Product Declaration, or EPD, according to ISO 14025 and EN 15804+A2 is available for ISO-DRAIN dimpled sheets.

Environmental Product Declaration for ISO-DRAIN
The EPD documents the environmental impacts of ISO-DRAIN dimpled sheets on the basis of a life cycle assessment. It includes aspects such as production, transport, installation, dismantling, disposal as well as recovery and recycling potentials. The declared unit is 1 kg of dimpled sheet. The representative EPD is based on ISO-DRAIN eco / nature with PE recyclate content.

Covered product variants
The EPD covers ISO-DRAIN eco / nature as well as further product variants. The specific life cycle assessment data for the individual variants are listed in the annexes to the EPD:
- ISO-DRAIN eco / nature G / P with PE recyclate content and fleece lamination
- ISO-DRAIN made from virgin material without lamination
- ISO-DRAIN G / P made from virgin material with fleece lamination
Recyclate and production
According to the EPD, the representative product variant ISO-DRAIN eco / nature consists of 89.3 % HDPE regranulate. Production is carried out using an extrusion process. Interplast is certified for energy and environmental management according to ISO 14001 and ISO 50001. Closed cooling circuits are used in production and direct waste heat is utilised.
Use and recovery
According to the EPD, no known interactions between the dimpled sheet, the environment and human health occur during use. At the end of its service life, the dimpled sheet can be thermally recovered. Material recycling is also possible in principle.
Quality and verified properties
ISO-DRAIN stands for consistently high product quality. Interplast applies a quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 as well as product certifications according to EN ISO 13252 and EN ISO 13967.
